II Kings 18:33 ” Has any of the gods of the nations ever delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?”

Hezekiah did what was right in the eyes of the Lord! Here was a man that would not pander to popularity, concede ground to culture, or give up on following God.
Sometimes when the enemy comes to try and steal the very things God has promised us all we have to do is stand. As it is written in Ephesians 6:13 “Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand firm.”
The author Herbert Locklear found 7,147 promises from God to man in the bible. Do we know what God has promised us, are we living our lives for God, aware of and trusting in his promises to us?
What promises of God are you believing for this year? Will you take your stand when the enemy comes with temptations, with false promises, with threats? Are you building the character today that you will need tomorrow?
Let me pray for you please? Father God, please help us to be disciplined, to learn your ways, to seek your face, and to follow your steps.
